From my research, it seems that almost all MLMs are right on the border of being a pyramid scheme. Yes, most of them have a product that they can sell to the public, which technically prevents them from being a pyramid scheme. Claim: Herbalife has changed its harmful practices. Truth: The company has: 1. Banned lead generation. 2. Changed its buyback policy. 3. Modified the qualification thresholds for different positions in the plan.
